This recipe reminds me of Sunday dinner at Nana and Papa's house!

 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  cup onion [diced]
 2 cloves garlic [minced]
 5 tbsp tomato paste
 28 oz crushed tomatoes
 1 tsp dried oregano
 1 tsp dried basil
 salt and papper to taste

[STEP 1]
In a pot over medium heat, add the olive oil, onion, garlic, and tomato paste. Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the tomato paste has caramelized.

[STEP 2]
Add the canned tomatoes, dried oregano, and dried basil. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes or until the desired thickness.

[STEP 3]
Add salt and pepper to taste.
